Inspection report states burn markings a HVAC?

"There are visible burn marks on the rafters and/or sheathing (decking) at the flue pipe of the HVAC system"_We got a home inspection done; this is one thing that was written in the report. Should this be a concern, what caused the burn marks? Does it need to be fixed immediately, should we fix it or ask the seller to?
