Why does my coffee get cold so fast?

I recently moved from Toronto to Vancouver, and the climate is much more humid here. But can that explain why my coffee (or any other hot drink) gets cold so fast? I find I walk out of Starbucks and have to chug my drink down because after 2 sips it's already lukewarm.
