Can my red eared slider live an aquarium with these measurements?

I have a male RES and when it's upgraded into an 80 gallon this website <>a href="http://alysta.com/books/fishtank.htm>" rel="nofollow"http://alysta.com/books/fishtank.htm>/a said that the 80 gallon is about 48"Lx14"Wx30"H. Is this okay for an adult male RES?
