Has anyone been on a Putney student trip?

I've been looking at all the different types of trips...community service, excel, etc. and I was wondering if anyone had been on any of these, and if so, which was the best experience. Excel looks appealing to me...however, these trips aren't exactly cheap, so I'd like a firsthand opinion on it. Thanks!
